This energetic position involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and hardscape projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring that outdoor environments are safe, attractive, and well-kept by performing a variety of tasks that keep landscapes thriving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor equipment operation while contributing to community beautification projects. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive grounds Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Support hardscape installation and repair projects including pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating power tools and landscaping equipment effectively Experience with landscape maintenance routines such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Excellent attention to detail in groundskeeping activities to uphold high standards of landscape appearance This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in landscaping while contributing to the beauty of outdoor spaces.
