This energetic position involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and hardscape projects. You will be responsible for supporting the installation, upkeep, and enhancement of various landscape features while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Support the installation of hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests; assist with pesticide management following safety guidelines. Perform routine groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, fertilization, and seasonal plantings. Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Requirements Previous outdoor work experience or landscaping background is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, gardening, tree trimming, and plant identification. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely; experience with irrigation systems is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles and pesticide management procedures. Strong adherence to safety protocols and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
