Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support horticultural health and landscape design goals Assist with hardscape projects like installing pathways or retaining walls under supervision Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Support seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, fertilization, pest management, and general grounds upkeep Skills Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for safe operation and troubleshooting Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices Ability to identify plants, trees, pests, and signs of disease for effective horticultural care Knowledge of pesticide management procedures to handle chemicals responsibly Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair techniques Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence during outdoor work activities Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability and physical stamina for demanding tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
