Orosz Properties is searching for a full-time maintenance groundskeeper to join our maintenance staff. The job is an hourly position with paid time off, sick days, paid holidays, and 401k with employer match. Orosz Properties owns and manages over 600 apartments in the Madison area with properties ranging from single family houses to 12-story apartment complexes. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Landscaping (lawn mowing, snow removal, weeding, weed whacking, tree trimming, hedge trimming, etc.) Assisting our maintenance staff with various remodel and capital improvement projects Maintaining cleanliness outside around our properties Filling water softeners with salt at all properties Bringing trash and recycle containers to and from the curb at the properties Painting and drywall repairs Replacing furnace filters Cleaning out lint traps and dryer ducts Performing light maintenance (replacing light bulbs, replacing batteries in smoke detectors, replacing garbage disposals) Qualifications Able to operate maintenance tools Able to take directions from supervisors Able to maintain a reasonable level of organization Experience in field is preferred but not required Possess a valid driver's license
