We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Lawn Care & Maintenance Technician to join our team. Position Overview This is a hands-on position responsible for lawn care, landscaping, property upkeep, and general maintenance at Lakeland RV Center and other properties as assigned. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping properties looking their best, and is comfortable operating lawn and landscaping equipment. This position will also assist with general property maintenance, cleanup, and other projects as needed. Key Responsibilities Mow and maintain lawns and grassy areas. Operate lawn mowers. Perform weed trimming, edging, and blowing. Maintain landscaping, flower beds, and other outdoor areas. Trim bushes, shrubs, and small trees as needed. Perform weed control and general property cleanup. Pick up garbage, branches, leaves, and other debris. Assist with spring and fall property cleanup. Maintain driveways, parking areas, and outdoor spaces. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs around the property. Inspect and maintain lawn care equipment and tools. Keep equipment, shop areas, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with other maintenance and property improvement projects as needed. Follow proper safety procedures when operating equipment and completing maintenance work. Work independently while also assisting other members of the Lakeland RV Center team. Qualifications Previous lawn care, landscaping, groundskeeping, farming, construction, or property maintenance experience is preferred. Experience operating mowers and other lawn care equipment is a plus. Comfortable using weed trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and power equipment. Basic mechanical ability and the ability to perform minor equipment maintenance is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, walking, and working on your feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping properties clean and well maintained. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision. Willingness to help with a variety of tasks as needed. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
