Davis Dreamscapes, LLC

General Landscape Laborer (Fall & Winter)

Job Description

A Ground-Floor Opportunity:
Build With Me Are you an experienced landscape professional looking for premium winter pay and a true path to advancement? As a growing Oshkosh company, I am actively looking for my very first official employee to work side-by-side with me this season. You won't be just another number on a massive corporate crew; you will be my right hand in tackling our fall cleanup and winter snow removal contracts. If you have the drive, the experience, and the entrepreneurial spirit to help build this business from the ground up, this position is specifically designed to promote you into a designated leadership role by the spring of 2027. Your Seasonal Mission & Flexible Schedule Your daily responsibilities will shift directly with the Wisconsin weather. During the fall, we will tackle comprehensive property maintenance together. You will help lead the charge on extensive fall cleanups—deep cleaning garden beds, cutting back perennials, hauling away heavy leaf accumulation, clearing dead debris, and executing final landscape prep to ensure our clients' properties are completely locked down and protected before the ground freezes. For these standard seasonal tasks, I am happy to offer a highly flexible schedule that accommodates your life. However, as the snow flies and our focus aggressively shifts to snow and ice management, Mother Nature dictates the schedule. Operating snowblowers, plow trucks, and applying de-icing materials requires you to be fully ready and available the moment winter storms hit. What You Need to Bring I am actively seeking a candidate with proven, hands-on experience in both landscaping and professional snow removal. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are strictly required. You must possess a strong work ethic and the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and shoveling outdoors in freezing, wet conditions. Because winter weather is completely unpredictable, your flexible fall schedule must transition into on-call availability for snow and ice events during early mornings, late nights, or weekends. The Payoff Let's talk compensation. Because I am looking for top-tier experienced help, you will earn a highly competitive base rate of $25 to $35 per hour . Recognizing the brutal nature of winter work, all winter snow removal hours are paid hourly and include a generous seasonal premium. You will also have the opportunity for overtime during peak fall cleanup weeks and heavy winter blizzards. Furthermore, as we build this business together, your total compensation package will grow with it; a comprehensive benefits program—including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a matching investment contribution plan—is officially slated to roll out in 2027. Come work directly with the owner, earn exceptional money this winter, and step into a leadership role as my company's founding team member next spring.
