Lawn Care Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces by performing a variety of lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, manicured appearance. Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or powered equipment such as hedge trimmers and pruning saws. Maintain landscape features including flower beds, hardscapes, and garden areas through planting, weeding, mulching, and edging. Operate various landscaping machinery , irrigation systems, and snow plows during seasonal changes or special projects. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Assist with general tasks related to landscape installation or hardscape projects. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn care and landscaping equipment. Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, irrigation system setup, and tree care. Ability to use hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects like hardscape installation or excavation work. Understanding of horticulture principles for healthy plant growth and garden design. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows when needed.
