JOB POSTING
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, safety, and cleanliness of our assisted living community and the yards of the Sisters. In this role, you will take pride in creating a welcoming outdoor environment for our Sisters, residents, families, and staff by caring for landscaping, walkways, parking areas, and the overall appearance of the property. Requirements:
Available to work Monday - Friday on 1st shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Valid Driver's License and an excellent driving record. Must be professional, compassionate and have a friendly disposition. High School diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for routine maintenance and care of yard trucks, grass cutters, tractor/loaders, blowers, chainsaws, and other equipment used, this includes sharpening blades, engine and transmission oil changed and ensure at proper levels, replace air filters, oil filters, grease bearings, and ensure that all safety devices and guards are in place and in working order. Cuts, trims, and aerates grass to established standards. Plants and weeds flower, shrubby beds, prune other bushes and small trees. Performs janitorial duties as assigned such as disposing of kitchen waste, cans, bottles, cardboard, and other trash from buildings.
