Job Description We're looking for a dependable and motivated Landscape Crew Member to join our landscaping team. We're specifically looking for someone who can follow direction, maintain a productive work pace, pay attention to detail, and stay on task without constant supervision. Previous landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or equipment experience is strongly preferred. However, we will consider someone with less direct landscaping experience who has a proven work ethic, learns quickly, takes initiative, and is comfortable performing physical outdoor work. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, operating equipment, seeing the results of their work at the end of the day, and wants the opportunity to develop into a highly skilled landscape professional. Responsibilities Install decorative rock, mulch, edging, plants, trees, sod, and other landscape materials Assist with and perform paver patio, walkway, and retaining wall installations Perform demolition, excavation, grading, base preparation, and site preparation Operate or learn to operate skid steers, mini skid steers, excavators, loaders, compactors, saws, and other landscape equipment Load, unload, and transport tools and materials Follow project plans and directions from the crew foreman Maintain a steady and productive work pace throughout the day Recognize when a task is complete and take initiative on the next task Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Properly care for company trucks, equipment, and tools Work as part of a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards What We're Looking For Landscaping, hardscaping, construction, excavation, or similar experience preferred Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive throughout the workday Ability to follow directions and retain training Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work independently after receiving direction Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told every next step Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work well with a crew and communicate with the foreman Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Equipment operation experience is a plus Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Overtime available and may be required during busy periods Occasional weekend work during peak season What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience and ability Overtime opportunities Performance-based incentives On-the-job training and skill development Opportunities to operate and learn a variety of equipment Opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility Variety of residential and commercial landscape projects We're looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the crew and takes pride in getting work done correctly, efficiently, and without needing constant supervision.
