Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and hardscape projects. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your skills to ensure landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the environment and providing welcoming outdoor environments for clients and communities alike. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting Operate grounds maintenance equipment including power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery safely and effectively Identify different plant species and perform plant health assessments to ensure optimal growth and landscape vitality Support irrigation system installation, repair, and management to promote healthy plant development Perform tree trimming and hardscape work to improve safety, aesthetics, and functionality of outdoor areas Follow strict safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Conduct routine grounds inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards Requirements Prior outdoor work experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment essential for efficient performance Ability to identify various plants, trees, and pests; familiarity with pesticide management is a plus Strong understanding of horticulture principles and gardening practices necessary for landscape health Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscaping and grounds care Join us if you're passionate about outdoor environments and eager to develop your skills in landscape maintenance!
