We work with homeowners and businesses to maintain and enhance landscapes, offering services that range from routine lawn and landscape maintenance to more complex landscaping and garden installation projects. Our team takes pride in delivering reliable service, healthy landscapes, and well-maintained outdoor environments. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping Foreman to work with us seasonally. This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, horticulture and groundskeeping who enjoy outdoor work and take pride in quality results. The Landscape Foreman will work at residential and commercial properties , performing routine landscaping services as well as assisting with larger landscape projects. This role plays an important part in maintaining professional job sites and ensuring that client landscapes remain healthy, attractive, and well cared for. Responsibilities Must be an independent contractor or willing to work as one (1099). Perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including heat. Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Provide routine lawn care services , including mowing, trimming, and edging. Complete regular landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, pruning, and bed maintenance. Dig, grade, and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Assist with landscape installation projects , including new plantings and garden features. Safely operate power tools and landscaping equipment. Load, unload, and transport landscaping tools, materials, and debris as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report mechanical issues. Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional throughout the workday. Work independently or alongside other landscaping technicians depending on project needs. Communicate professionally with residential and commercial clients regarding landscaping needs. Skills Experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor work . Knowledge of mowing techniques and general landscape maintenance practices. Ability to safely and effectively use power tools and landscaping equipment. Ability to dig, prepare, and maintain garden beds efficiently. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required. Having a personal vehicle capable of transporting landscaping tools or small equipment (such as a pickup truck, trailer, or SUV with cargo space) is a strong plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and time-management skills. Knowledge of fertilization, pest control, and lawn care practices (preferred). Mechanical knowledge for minor equipment troubleshooting (preferred). Familiarity with proper pruning and plant care techniques (preferred). Important Information This position is for an independent contractor (1099) . Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business registration, as applicable. This is seasonal landscaping work , available from March through October, with the potential to extend into November/December based on workload and performance. Flexibility is essential. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
