Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, and public spaces. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, plant care, and groundskeeping will help transform outdoor environments into vibrant, inviting spaces. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, equipment operation, and outdoor project execution while working in a lively, team-focused environment. Duties Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, edging, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal. Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Conduct landscape repairs and hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Manage irrigation systems—installing, troubleshooting, adjusting watering schedules to promote optimal plant health. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to keep properties maintained year-round. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation including lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, pruning techniques, and soil management. Familiarity with pesticide management practices and safety procedures for chemical application. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus. Strong attention to safety protocol adherence at all times during outdoor activities. Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, digging, bending, standing for long periods and working in various weather conditions. Valid outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance or landscaping projects is highly desirable. Join us to help craft stunning landscapes that inspire pride! Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
