Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Technician and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a variety of landscape environments, ensuring they are safe, beautiful, and thriving. Your hands-on skills and passion for outdoor work will help create inviting, well-manicured grounds that leave a lasting impression. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping & grounds maintenance while working in a vibrant outdoor setting. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, safely and efficiently Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols to protect plant health while maintaining safety standards Conduct seasonal snow plowing and snow removal to keep outdoor areas accessible during winter months Experience Previous outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, planting, and soil care Familiarity with the operation of grounds equipment such as power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and tree care equipment Understanding of safety protocols related to pesticide application, equipment operation, and outdoor work environments Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your skills contribute directly to creating beautiful outdoor spaces!
