Temp-to-Hire Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Pesticide Applicator with a CDL license (Class A) to join a growing agricultural operation in the Santa Maria area. This is a position offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and paid holidays . The ideal candidate will have experience working in agricultural environments and operating equipment safely while applying pesticides and crop protection products.

Responsibilities:

Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines Operate application equipment and CDL vehicles safely in agricultural fields Follow all federal, state, and local pesticide regulations Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications and usage Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure proper crop protection

Requirements:

Valid CDL A(Commercial Driver's License) - Required Pesticide Applicator License or experience preferred Experience in agriculture, farming, or crop application is a plus Ability to work day/night shifts and overtime when needed Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
