Job Description

Salt Pond Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Spray Technician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubsmanaged by Troon. The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and appreciates the value of hard work.
Summary:
Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory, as well as keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications. Responsibilities Apply fertilizer and chemical applications Update spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheets Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders General upkeep and maintenance of spray equipment Over time, be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues
Special Requirements:
Have no problems wearing spray applicator suits, full-face respirators, or chemical-resistant apparel Able to lift 50 pounds Perform simple calculations Willing to learn Detail-oriented Keep area neat and organized Have or be willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicator's License within 60 days of employment Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
