THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a skilled Lawn & Ornamental Technician to join our growing team. This is not a position for someone looking to learn the basics from scratch. Previous lawn and ornamental experience is required. You'll be trusted to manage your route, diagnose lawn and ornamental issues, apply treatments correctly, and build strong relationships with customers through the quality of your work. What You'll Be Responsible For Performing professional lawn fertilization and weed-control applications Caring for ornamental plants, shrubs, and landscape areas Inspecting properties and identifying pest, disease, nutritional, and turf problems Applying products safely, accurately, and according to label requirements Maintaining accurate service records and documenting property conditions Providing excellent customer service and answering customer questions professionally Maintaining your vehicle, equipment, and application supplies Managing your route efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service Representing our company with professionalism and pride
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in lawn care, turf management, ornamental care, pest control, or a related field Strong knowledge of turf, weeds, insects, and ornamental plants The ability to identify problems and determine appropriate treatment Excellent attention to detail A strong work ethic and dependable attendance Good communication and customer-service skills A valid driver's license and dependable driving record The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions A professional attitude and pride in producing quality results State pesticide/applicator licensing is a major plus and may be required depending on the position and location.
