Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to identify pest issues and assess landscape health. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other chemical agents following strict safety protocols and pesticide management guidelines. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize integrated pest management techniques to develop customized treatment plans that minimize environmental impact. Perform confined space entry safety procedures when necessary for treatment or inspections in restricted areas. Communicate clearly with clients about pest issues, treatment plans, and safety precautions to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, inspections, and service reports in compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or ladders. Knowledge of pesticide application procedures and pest control chemical handling best practices. Familiarity with safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, respiratory protection use, confined space entry safety procedures, and chemical handling safety. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; ability to drive confidently on varied terrains. Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
