- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn and ornamental care products safely and accurately.
- Operate, maintain, and properly calibrate spray equipment.
- Diagnose turf and plant issues, including weeds, pests, and diseases.
- Mix and apply pesticides according to established treatment programs and product labels.
- Read and follow pesticide labels and application instructions carefully.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, treatments, and property notes.
- Assist with mulch, pine straw, seasonal color, and general landscape maintenance as needed.
- Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and applicable regulations.
- Provide quality, professional service while maintaining a strong focus on property appearance and plant health.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Qualifications
- Lawn care, landscaping, agricultural, or pest control experience preferred.
- Certification, licensing, or formal training in lawn care, pest control, turf management, or ornamental plant care preferred.
- Florida Certified Pest Control Operator (CPCO) license is a plus and may be required depending on assigned duties.
- Minimum of 1 year of pest control or related lawn/landscape experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of proper pesticide mixing and application procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work outdoors.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Commitment to safe and responsible product application, with an emphasis on environmentally conscious and organic approaches where applicable.
