Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lawn Care Worker to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas through a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and attention to detail will ensure our clients' properties are pristine, safe, and inviting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor maintenance to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases. Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during equipment operation and outdoor work activities. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, or retaining walls when required. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred; enthusiasm for working outside in all weather conditions is essential. Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Ability to identify plants and understand basic horticulture principles. Knowledge of pesticide management practices in accordance with safety regulations. Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all tasks involving power tools or chemicals. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor for extended periods. Valid driver's license may be required for equipment transportation or site access.
