This role combines team leadership, customer service, scheduling, sales, and technical lawn care knowledge. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems, managing people, and helping customers achieve healthy, beautiful lawns. Key Responsibilities Schedule and route daily lawn care service appointments for maximum efficiency. Manage and oversee 2-3 lawn care service routes and the technicians assigned to them. Supervise, coach, and support lawn care technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Diagnose common lawn issues, including weeds, insects, fungal diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and other turf health concerns. Recommend appropriate treatment plans and communicate solutions to customers. Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer questions, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Generate new sales opportunities through customer interactions and follow up on estimates, leads, and potential clients. Identify and recommend upsell opportunities, including additional lawn treatments and services. Accurately enter customer information, service notes, treatment recommendations, and scheduling updates into company software. Monitor route performance, productivity, and service quality to ensure operational efficiency. Coordinate with office staff and management to resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns. Ensure technicians follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, turf management, or a related field preferred. Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of turfgrass health, weed identification, lawn diseases, and treatment methods preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Sales experience or the ability to identify and close additional service opportunities. Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and mobile applications. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Knowledge of fertilizer and pesticide applications. Experience with routing and scheduling software. Ability to train and mentor employees. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Attention to detail and accurate data entry.
