Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools to perform chemical applications across various outdoor landscapes. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other chemical agents accurately following pesticide management and integrated pest management (IPM) protocols. Use ladders safely to access hard-to-reach areas for precise chemical treatment while following ladder safety procedures. Conduct pest control treatments targeting insects, rodents, or other pests using appropriate pest control chemicals and techniques. Follow strict safety protocols including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures during chemical handling and application processes. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, answer questions about lawn care or pest control services, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer service skills. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pesticide management activities, and safety compliance for regulatory purposes. Experience Previous outdoor work experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is highly desirable. Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge including pest control chemicals and integrated pest management strategies. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, ladders, and company vehicle operation. Understanding of safety protocol adherence including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about services performed. Experience handling chemical agents responsibly while following pesticide management standards.
