Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Aquatic Spray Technician and play a vital role in maintaining healthy, safe, and beautiful aquatic environments. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for applying specialized chemical agents to control pests and manage aquatic plant growth, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations. Your expertise will help preserve the integrity of aquatic ecosystems while providing exceptional service to our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with outdoor work, making a tangible impact on water quality and habitat health. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery to perform aquatic pest control and spray applications. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical agents following strict pesticide management and application guidelines. Conduct inspections of aquatic environments to identify pest issues, algae overgrowth, or invasive species requiring intervention. Use ladders safely for elevated spray applications while adhering to ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety protocols when necessary. Implement integrated pest management strategies by assessing pest populations, selecting appropriate treatments, and monitoring effectiveness. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, application locations, and environmental conditions in compliance with safety protocol adherence. Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service, explain treatment plans, and address any concerns professionally. Requirements Valid license as an Aquatic Spray Technician or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in pesticide application and pest control. Proven experience in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture. Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and ladder use for elevated applications. Knowledge of pesticide handling including chemical agent safety procedures, respiratory protection use, and pesticide management best practices. Familiarity with entomology principles related to pest identification and control methods within aquatic ecosystems. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly; a clean driving record is preferred. Understanding of safety protocols related to confined space entry safety procedures and outdoor work hazards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
