Job Description
Position Summary Messer Lawn Care LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking Lawn Care Specialist to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of lawn care, landscaping, irrigation, and property maintenance services while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform weekly lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing. Assist with spring and fall cleanups, including leaf removal and debris hauling. Install sod, artificial turf, hydroseed, mulch, rock, topsoil, and landscape edging. Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials. Dig trenches and assist with irrigation and sprinkler system installations and repairs. Operate hand tools and power equipment safely, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, wheelbarrows, and shovels. Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials. Maintain clean, organized work trucks, trailers, and job sites. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or customer issues to management immediately. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining Messer Lawn Care's quality standards. Assist with other lawn care and landscaping projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train motivated individuals. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly. Reliable transportation to and from work. Valid driver's license preferred. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and pulling. Standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and tools. Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and dusty environments.
