We provide high-quality lawn and landscape maintenance services throughout Southern Indiana and the Louisville Metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial lawns and landscapes through expert lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance practices. This paid position offers the opportunity to build your skills in professional lawn and landscape maintenance while working as part of a team committed to delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities Operate commercial lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal. Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch installation, bed edging, soil preparation, grading, and sod installation. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to provide appropriate care. Conduct grounds maintenance including snow removal and ice management in winter months or other seasonal tasks as needed. Use hand tools and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Qualifications Valid drivers license. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be able to safely perform physically demanding work, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, heavier materials and equipment may be lifted or moved using proper lifting techniques, mechanical equipment, or team lifting. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work well as part of a team. Experience operating commercial lawn equipment is preferred but not required. Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or plant installation is preferred but not required. Knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning techniques, and general horticulture practices is preferred but not required. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
