Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, appearance, and safety of landscaped areas through expert groundskeeping and landscaping practices. Responsibilities Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to maintain pristine lawns and landscaped areas using power tools and hand tools. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols and environmental regulations to promote healthy plant growth. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to enhance aesthetic appeal. Follow all safety procedures diligently while operating equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or groundskeeping background preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant identification, and horticulture principles. Ability to operate irrigation systems and understand basic pesticide management practices. Familiarity with safety protocols related to groundskeeping equipment operation and pesticide application. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors for extended periods. Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining high standards of groundskeeping quality.
