The Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist will diagnose, monitor, and treat insects, diseases, weeds, and cultural problems. You will recommend solutions to issues and offer improvements to optimize the performance of our client's landscapes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties
  • Monitor landscape health and care needs
  • Diagnose primary turf problems and basic pest identification
  • Maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
  • Take a proactive approach to safety by attending all field safety trainings and utilizing proper safety equipment
  • Communicate effectively to Account Managers or directly with clients about issues/opportunities
  • Various administrative needs, including timesheets, work tickets, safety protocols, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
This position requires the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
These include:
Stand and walk throughout a minimum 8-hour shift Lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds Regularly bend, lift, stretch, twist and reach below the waist and above the head Climb in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers numerous times per day Work in all weather conditions and seasons
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to perform the job's essential physical functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Position Range:
