The Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist will diagnose, monitor, and treat insects, diseases, weeds, and cultural problems. You will recommend solutions to issues and offer improvements to optimize the performance of our client's landscapes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:- Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties
- Monitor landscape health and care needs
- Diagnose primary turf problems and basic pest identification
- Maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
- Take a proactive approach to safety by attending all field safety trainings and utilizing proper safety equipment
- Communicate effectively to Account Managers or directly with clients about issues/opportunities
- Various administrative needs, including timesheets, work tickets, safety protocols, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
