Job Description

About the Role The IPM Specialist manages 'Chesapeake Grows' pest and disease prevention program, ensuring all applications are compliant, safe, and effective. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily field scouting for pests, disease, and environmental stress
  • Identify early signs of infestation or plant decline
  • Apply biologicals, oils, and approved pesticides
  • Follow strict PPE and safety protocols
  • Maintain spray logs and equipment
  • Ensure all applications follow Maryland regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation for inspections
  • Strong observational skills
  • Ability to work outdoors daily
  • Comfort handling agricultural products
  • Full availability for the season
  • IPM experience in agriculture or cannabis
  • Pesticide applicator certification preferred
