Lead Spray Technician Superior SoftWash - 3.1 Linthicum Heights, MD Job Details Full-time $17 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Equipment safety procedures Outdoor work experience High school diploma or GED Driver's License Team training Quality control Technical training Crew management Full Job Description SoftWash Spray TechnicianBuild Skills. Build Confidence. Build a Career. Some people are looking for their next job. Others are looking for an opportunity to become more capable, earn more responsibility, develop valuable skills, and build a better future. Superior SoftWash is looking for the second kind of person. We are a growing exterior cleaning company, and we're looking for a SoftWash Spray Technician who wants more than a paycheck. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing great work, wants to learn, enjoys being part of a winning team, and wants the opportunity to grow as the company grows. You do not need years of soft washing or pressure washing experience to succeed here. We can teach you our systems, equipment, processes, and techniques. What matters much more is what you bring with you: Work ethic. Coachability. Reliability. Personal responsibility. Attention to detail. A positive attitude. And the desire to become better than you are today. If that sounds like you, keep reading. The Opportunity At Superior SoftWash, we believe a growing company should create growing opportunities for the people who help build it. We're not interested in creating dead-end positions where good people do the same thing year after year with nowhere to go. We are building a larger, stronger company—and that requires developing people who can grow with us. A Spray Technician can become an exceptional technician. An exceptional technician can learn more advanced services, equipment, customer communication, leadership, and operational responsibilities. The people who consistently demonstrate that they can produce results, solve problems, lead themselves, and help the people around them get better create opportunities for themselves. The more value you become capable of creating, the more valuable you can become to the organization. That's the opportunity. We can't promise where your career will ultimately take you. That's determined by your performance, your development, the company's growth, and the opportunities we create together. But we can promise you this: If you're serious about growing, you'll be working for a company that wants to grow too. What You'll Learn Soft washing is a professional exterior-cleaning process used to safely clean and restore homes and commercial properties. We'll train you in our processes and standards, including: Professional soft washing and exterior cleaning techniques Proper use of commercial cleaning equipment Safe handling and application of cleaning solutions Property and landscape protection Equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown Efficient job-site organization Quality-control procedures Customer communication and professionalism Working effectively as part of a production team Identifying problems and taking ownership of solutions The goal isn't simply to teach you how to spray a house. The goal is to develop a professional technician who understands what excellent work looks like and takes pride in delivering it. What the Work Is Like One of the best parts of this work is being able to see what you accomplished. You arrive at a property that needs help. You and your team go to work. And when you're finished, the transformation is often dramatic. You'll work outdoors, travel to customer properties, operate professional equipment, manage hoses and cleaning systems, prepare and protect work areas, apply cleaning solutions, rinse surfaces, inspect completed work, and help leave each property looking noticeably better than when you arrived. This is active, physical work. You'll spend much of the day on your feet and outdoors. You'll lift and move equipment, pull hoses, work around homes and commercial properties, and perform your job in the changing weather conditions that come with outdoor work in Maryland. For the right person, that's a benefit. You're moving. You're working with your hands. You're solving problems. You're learning a trade. You're working with a team. And at the end of the day, you can see what you accomplished. Who Thrives Here Experience can be useful. Character matters more. We are especially interested in people who: Show up when they say they will Take pride in being dependable Want to learn and improve Accept coaching and apply it Pay attention to details Care about the quality of their work Take responsibility instead of making excuses Treat customers, coworkers, and customer property with respect Communicate professionally Stay productive without needing someone constantly looking over their shoulder Notice what needs to be done and take initiative Want to become more skilled and more valuable Have goals for their life beyond simply getting through the week You don't have to know everything when you walk through our door. You do need to be willing to learn. We'd rather develop a motivated, coachable person with high standards than hire someone with experience who believes they already know everything. Our Culture Superior SoftWash is building something. We have goals for where this company is going, and we're looking for people who have goals for where they are going. We believe in accountability. We believe in doing what we say we're going to do. We believe in continuous improvement. We believe customers should receive an exceptional experience. We believe great companies are built by people who take ownership of their results. And we believe opportunity should grow for people who consistently demonstrate that they're ready for more. That doesn't mean everyone has to want the same career path. It means we want to work with people who care about becoming better—professionally, personally, and financially. Your goals matter to us. If you know where you want to go, we want to understand how working at Superior SoftWash can help you get there—and how your growth can help us get where we're going. What Success Looks Like Success in this position isn't simply completing the day's jobs. It's becoming someone your team can count on. It's learning the systems. It's protecting the customer's property. It's doing things correctly even when nobody is watching. It's recognizing a problem before it becomes a bigger problem. It's asking questions when you don't know something. It's taking coaching and getting better. It's treating equipment like it matters. It's leaving a property knowing the customer received the level of work we promised. And over time, it's becoming the kind of person who can be trusted with more. What We Offer At Superior SoftWash, you'll have the opportunity to: Learn a professional trade Receive hands-on training Work with professional commercial equipment Develop technical and customer-service skills Work as part of a growing company Take on increasing responsibility as your abilities develop Build skills that make you more valuable Work in an environment where initiative and performance are noticed Pursue advancement as the company grows and your capabilities grow with it We want your position here to become more valuable because you've become more valuable. That requires effort from both sides. We'll provide the training, systems, expectations, coaching, and opportunity. What you do with that opportunity is up to you. What We're Looking For The right candidate will be able to meet the practical requirements of field work, including safely performing physically active outdoor work, following established safety procedures, working around residential and commercial properties, and reliably getting to work as scheduled. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are valuable because qualified team members may operate company vehicles as part of their responsibilities. Previous experience in soft washing, pressure washing, landscaping, construction, roofing, painting, window cleaning, property maintenance, or another hands-on trade can be helpful. But previous industry experience is not the deciding factor. We're hiring for the person first. Skills can be taught. Attitude, ambition, integrity, and personal standards are much harder to teach. Where Could This Take You? That's partly up to you. As Superior SoftWash grows, we will need more than technicians. We'll need people capable of training others. We'll need crew leaders. We'll need people who understand our equipment and systems. We'll need people who can help manage production. We'll need people who can take responsibility for bigger outcomes. Growth creates opportunities. Our goal is to develop people from within whenever their performance and capabilities earn that opportunity. Your first position with Superior SoftWash doesn't necessarily have to be your last. Ready to Show Us Who You Are? If you're looking for meaningful work, want to learn a valuable skill, enjoy working with your hands, and want to be part of a company with ambitious plans for the future, we'd like to hear from you. When you apply, don't just think about what job you need right now. Think about where you want your life to be a few years from now. Because one of the questions we're interested in isn't simply: "Can you do this job?"
It's:
"What are you trying to accomplish in your life—and are you willing to become the person capable of accomplishing it?" If you're ready to work, ready to learn, and ready to grow, apply to join Superior SoftWash .Pay:
