Job Description

Job Title:
Lawn Tech 2
Job Purpose:
The Lawn Tech 2 position is responsible for assisting the Lawn Crew Foreman and Lead in daily operations including quality control, punctuality and safety. This employee will provide quality service that meets or exceeds out customers' and management's expectations.
Pay Range:
$18-21/hour
Direct Report:
Lawn Crew Foreman or Lawn Crew Lead Job Duties:
Daily Preparation of equipment Report on time at regular start time Load all tools, gas and other necessary equipment/materials. Secure all equipment safely. Perform landscape and maintenance tasks on client's properties. Work in conjunction with Lawn Crew Foreman or Lead to ensure the work contracted is implemented efficiently and according to the contracted specifications. Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns and garden beds, including cleanouts. Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation. Unload/load equipment and material, clean out truck/trailer by removing trash, debris, etc. daily.
Other Duties:
Basic routine maintenance of lawn care equipment and tools Wash dirty equipment and return to storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to supervisor immediately to get parts on order Be available to assist other work crews as needed Communicate needs, concerns and/or problems to supervisor Adhere to all company safety practices, procedures and policies Maintain good communication and positive relations with co-workers, customers and the public Represent Ground Force in a positive manner at all times Other tasks as assigned or as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 1-3 years' experience Current valid and clean driver's license in order to drive any company vehicles Drug free
Abilities and Skills:
Ability to safely operate all assigned equipment and tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, reach and climb ladders Good communication and teamwork skills

This work is primarily performed outside in all sorts of weather conditions (i.e. hot, humid, cold, wet, windy, rain, snow) which means the person will need to be adequately prepared.
