  • Full-time Custom Applicator Farmward Cooperative is seeking a Custom Applicator to join our team near Hendricks, MN.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage, excellent benefits, and opportunities for substantial overtime. Position Overview The Custom Applicator is responsible for operating and maintaining application equipment to safely and accurately apply pesticides and fertilizers to customer fields. This role plays a key part in supporting our growers and ensuring high-quality service. Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot application equipment (sprayers, spreaders, etc.) Mix, load, and apply pesticides and fertilizers at prescribed rates to designated fields Handle, transport, and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals safely Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment Maintain accurate and timely application and service records Provide excellent customer service while representing the cooperative in the field Coordinate application schedules through central dispatch Utilize knowledge of seed, chemical, and fertilizer products to support customer needs Complete and maintain all required safety and licensing certifications, including applicator recertification every two years Qualifications Valid driver's license required Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate and maintain equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay with semi-annual performance incentives Comprehensive benefits package, including: Paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Complete retirement packet including pension and 401(k)!
