Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lawn and Landscape Technician, where your passion for outdoor work and landscaping will help transform and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and delivering exceptional service to clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and equipment operation while working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct tree trimming, gardening, and pest management activities following safety protocols and industry standards Assist with landscape installation projects including planting new greenery, laying sod, or installing mulch Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices Ability to identify plants and understand horticultural principles Knowledge of pesticide management and safe handling of chemicals Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Outdoor work experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and follow instructions accurately This role is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who are eager to learn more about landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and plant care.
