Ryan Lawn & Tree is expanding our Plant Health Care team and is seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about tree and plant wellness, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored plant health care programs to maintain the beauty of our clients' landscapes. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations to accurately diagnose plant health issues, including the identification of common pests and diseases. Within a designated territory of 800 to 1,200 clients, you will implement Integrated Pest Management strategies by administering both preventative and corrective plant treatments. Operate a 300-gallon John Bean spray rig equipped with a 400-foot hose daily to execute annual maintenance plans for our clientele. Communicate professional recommendations and service details effectively to clients. Consistently deliver high-quality results by effectively collaborating with a team while also having the ability to work autonomously. Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant identification, common diseases, and insect pests. Requirements:
What You'll Bring (Qualifications) High School Diploma or equivalent required A degree in horticulture or agricultural sciences is preferred but not required. A strong aptitude for learning is essential; prior experience in horticulture or a related field is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic are a must. The ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator license within the first three months of employment. Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain DOT certification. •
