Your Opportunity In this position, you will perform lawn-care applications for both residential and commercial clients during the growing season. During the winter, you will play an important role in our commercial snow and ice operations. You will work as part of an experienced team while being trusted to use your professional judgment, communicate property concerns and consistently deliver the quality our clients expect. How You'll Make a Difference Apply fertilizers, herbicides and other turf-care products safely and accurately Provide lawn-care services for residential and commercial properties Observe turf conditions and identify weeds, insects, diseases and other concerns Complete accurate application records and follow product-label and safety requirements Communicate property concerns and service recommendations to the Dowco team Provide professional, courteous service when interacting with clients Properly maintain application equipment, trucks and tools Participate in commercial snow and ice operations, including plowing and/or salt application Help improve quality, efficiency and client satisfaction Take on additional responsibility as your skills and leadership abilities grow What Sets You Up for Success Professional lawn-care application experience Commercial snow and ice management experience Knowledge of turf, weeds and proper application practices Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job correctly Dependable attendance and flexibility when weather conditions require it Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain and snow Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Professional communication skills Missouri Category 3 Commercial Applicator License is a plus Leadership experience or an interest in growing into a lead role is a plus What You'll Find at Dowco Competitive pay based on experience and licensing Full-time, year-round employment Winter earning opportunities Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Retirement benefits Training and continued professional development Well-maintained equipment and required safety gear A respectful, quality-focused work environment Opportunities to grow into a senior technician, crew leader or other position with greater responsibility Your Next Chapter Starts Here Dowco Enterprises is a woman-owned, full-service lawn care and landscape maintenance company that has served the St. Louis County market since 1986.
