Centurion Analytics is seeking a Montana State Certified Pesticide Applicator to support operations at Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, Montana. This position reports to the Grounds Maintenance Project Manager. Must hold an active Montana Pesticide Applicator License with a current Category 34 - Ornamental & Turf Pest Control endorsement All applications performed per the Rules and Regulations of the Montana Department of Agriculture

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform herbicide, pesticide, and fertilizer applications to turf, ornamental plantings, trees, and shrubs per the approved Pest Management Plan Apply all products strictly per label instructions and Montana Department of Agriculture regulations Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure accurate rates Identify turf/ornamental pest, weed, and disease pressures and recommend label-compliant treatments Maintain complete application records (product, EPA registration number, rate, target site, weather, date/time) per state recordkeeping rules Store, transport, mix, and dispose of pesticide products/containers in compliance with state and federal regulations Use and maintain required PPE per product labeling and Centurion Analytics safety policy Coordinate application scheduling with the Project Manager to avoid conflicts with interments and visitor activity Post notification signage/notices where required Maintain active license status, including continuing education/recertification for Category 34 Respond to and document any spill, exposure, or drift incident

QUALIFICATIONS

Current, active Montana Pesticide Applicator License in good standing Active Category 34 - Ornamental & Turf Pest Control endorsement, maintained continuously through the contract term Minimum 3 years' experience performing herbicide applications in commercial (non-residential) turf and ornamental landscapes Working knowledge of Montana Department of Agriculture pesticide application, storage, and recordkeeping rules Valid state driver's license Ability to safely operate application equipment (backpack, boom, ride-on sprayers as applicable)

Pay:

$32.91 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
