Job Description
Carolina Comfort Air is looking for a Lawn Care Helpers that can help with a variety of duties including cutting, mowing and weed eating. This employee must have a drivers license and are able to drive a truck with a trailor. The Lawn Care Helper receives work orders indicating the nature of the work to be done and is generally supervised in the performance of his/her job. Primary Responsibilities and Expectations Must follow all company policies and procedures. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment as applicable to the situation, i.e., hard hat, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas. Run Lawn Mower, Tractor, Weed Eater and other lawn equipment. Must be able to drive a truck with trailor Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation. Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers. Apply protective materials to equipment, components, and parts to prevent defects and corrosion. Ability to operate landscaping equipment, such as chain saws, bobcats, mowers, sprayers, weed eaters, power washers, power tools, etc., in the maintenance and upkeep of company facilities. Capable of working with lawncare chemicals, seeding, compounds, paints, caulk, tape, etc. Assist in all types of construction work, such as additions, remodeling, demolition, and restoring of company properties or contracted work including the removal and replacement of furniture, appliances, or common work. Includes having the ability to assist in small property repairs of plumbing, patching, and other work including hanging drywall, sanding, and painting.
