Full-time, Salaried Position About Us We are a small but fast-growing landscape company with many residential and commercial customers throughout Wake County and the surrounding Triangle area. We also provide landscape design and installation projects across North Carolina. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality work, maintaining a proven safety record, and putting our clients first on every job. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Landscape Foreman / Licensed Pesticide Applicator to take a hands-on leadership role in the field. The ideal candidate has strong lawn and landscape maintenance experience, can operate zero-turn and stand-on mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and backpack blowers, and is comfortable leading a crew and managing daily work from start to finish. This is a working foreman position . You will spend significant time in the field operating equipment, performing landscape maintenance, applying pesticides as permitted by your license, and making sure your crew completes its daily schedule safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial landscaping equipment, including zero-turn and stand-on mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and backpack blowers. Lead and direct field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Perform lawn and landscape maintenance services for residential and commercial customers. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other landscape treatments in accordance with North Carolina requirements and the scope of your pesticide license . Plan and coordinate daily field activities, equipment use, and material needs. Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance checks. Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce company procedures. Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members. Train and mentor less-experienced crew members. Ensure each job is completed on schedule and meets our quality standards. Qualifications Current North Carolina Pesticide License is aPLUS. 2-5
years of experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping. Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman, Lead, Crew Leader, or Site Supervisor . Strong knowledge of lawn and landscape maintenance practices. Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid North Carolina driver's license and a clean driving record required. CDL is a plus. Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Must be willing to travel throughout the Triangle area and occasionally elsewhere in North Carolina. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be told what to do.
