We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Applicator and Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to promote healthy lawns and landscapes, as well as repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution. Your expertise will help clients achieve lush, vibrant outdoor spaces while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact the beauty and health of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, farm machinery, and hand tools to perform lawn care, pest control, and irrigation tasks efficiently. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other chemical agents following strict pesticide management protocols and safety procedures. Conduct detailed inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify pest issues, disease symptoms, or irrigation system malfunctions. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems using mechanical knowledge and appropriate hand or power tools. Follow all safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection use, and chemical handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by explaining treatments performed and recommending ongoing lawn care or pest management solutions. Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, system repairs, and service visits in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications PROVEN experience in lawn care application, pest control (including chemical handling), or irrigation system installation and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate farm machinery, power tools, ladders safely, and use hand tools effectively. Knowledge of pesticide management practices including integrated pest management (IPM) techniques and pest control chemical handling. Familiarity with safety protocols such as ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection requirements, and chemical safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Outdoor work experience in landscaping, farming, agriculture or related fields is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Ability to work independently in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Candidates must be good physical health/shape.
