About Us:
GPAC has partnered with an Agriculture company that is a leading agricultural services provider committed to excellence in crop protection and precision agriculture. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sprayer Technician to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients and the advancement of sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural sprayers and related equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with sprayer systems, including pumps, nozzles, and electronic components. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Calibrate and test sprayer equipment to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with agronomists and farm managers to understand specific crop protection needs. Keep accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules and equipment status. Provide on-site support and training to farmers on proper sprayer operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in agriculture or mechanics is a plus. Proven experience as a sprayer technician or similar role in the agriculture industry. Strong knowledge of agricultural sprayer systems and associated technologies. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Skilled in using hand and power tools for equipment maintenance and repairs. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
