Job Summary Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Apprentice and kick-start your career in outdoor beautification and maintenance! This paid position offers hands-on experience in a variety of landscaping tasks, from lawn care to hardscape installation, while working alongside seasoned professionals. You will develop essential skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and the use of power tools, all while contributing to creating stunning outdoor spaces. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the landscaping industry. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor environments. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Participate in tree care activities like trimming, planting, and general arboriculture practices. Contribute to seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and snow removal during winter months. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work sites to uphold safety standards. Requirements A strong interest in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture with a desire to learn industry best practices. Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently when operating equipment like lawn mowers, trimmers, or excavators. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning from experienced colleagues. Prior experience in construction or land development is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
