Job Summary:
Tree & Shrub Care Technician Do you have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to enhance and protect the health of plant material? We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician to join our growing team. As a technician, you will be responsible for making various applications such as fertilizer, insecticide and fungicide to landscape material. Your attention to detail and an understanding of integrated pest management will contribute to the overall health and beauty of our clients' landscapes. We are willing to train the right candidate!
Duties:
  • Assess current landscape health and needs
  • Make targeted fertilizer and pesticide applications to landscape material to enhance plant health and beauty
  • Operate and maintain equipment necessary for application
  • Adhere to safety requirements and guidelines while handling chemicals, operating equipment and making applications to landscape material
  • Maintain accurate records of applications and services provided
Skills:
  • Knowledge of landscape material and maintenance or a desire to learn
  • Familiarity with small engines and spray equipment encouraged
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • ODA pesticide license is a bonus
  • Willing to train the right motivated candidate This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth within our company.
