Position:

Lawns By Randy is looking for an experienced, dependable Certified Spray Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time , year-round position — not seasonal employment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands proper weed control and fertilization practices, and can be trusted to manage their daily route efficiently and professionally. The right person will have experience in the lawn care industry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify problems before they become customer complaints. We want someone who takes ownership of their properties, equipment, production, and customer relationships.

Compensation:

$21.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Production bonus opportunity of up to 3% Additional sales bonus opportunities Competitive weekly pay

Responsibilities:

Performing professional weed control and fertilization applications on residential and commercial properties Following all state, local, label, and company requirements for chemical applications Managing and completing assigned daily routes efficiently and on schedule Inspecting properties during each visit and identifying weeds, turf issues, insect activity, disease, irrigation concerns, and other potential problems Maintaining accurate application records and completing required documentation on time Communicating professionally with customers regarding lawn conditions, treatments, and recommendations Performing service calls and spot treatments when necessary Helping identify additional services that may benefit our customers Providing estimates when needed and supporting company sales efforts Properly maintaining , cleaning, and caring for assigned spray equipment and company vehicle Monitoring chemical inventory and using products responsibly Working closely with management and office staff to ensure customers receive consistent, high-quality service Participating in snow and ice management operations during winter weather events Required Qualifications Current Oklahoma Spray Technician License - Must Have THIS! Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Lawn care, weed control, fertilization, landscaping, or related industry experienceAbility to safely handle and apply lawn care products according to label requirementsStrong attention to detail Dependable attendance and ability to complete scheduled routes on time Good communication and customer-service skillsAbility to work independently while remaining accountable to the team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely operate required equipment High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Oklahoma Certified Applicator License 4+ years of lawn care, weed control, fertilization, or landscape industry experience Experience operating ride-on spreader/sprayer equipment Experience estimating or selling lawn care services Knowledge of production goals, route efficiency, chemical inventory, and job profitability Snow plowing or snow and ice management experience Our Core Values Trust | Passion for Detail | Loyalty | Communication | Growth We aren't looking for someone who simply wants another job.
