$20-$27/hr. (based on experience) About the Role We are currently hiring a Lawn Care Technician II to join our growing Plant Health Care team. This is a mid-level, field-based role ideal for someone with hands-on lawn care experience who is confident working independently, diagnosing turf issues, and interacting directly with customers. As a Lawn Care Technician II, you will manage your own service route, apply lawn treatments accurately, and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers. This role offers stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills in turf health and plant care. As a Lawn Care Technician your responsibilities will include: Perform professional lawn care applications including fertilization, weed control, and pest treatments Diagnose turf issues such as weeds, insects, disease, and nutrient deficiencies Recommend appropriate treatment plans and additional services based on lawn conditions Communicate directly with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide guidance Manage a daily service route independently and efficiently Accurately complete service documentation, product usage logs, and site notes Ensure compliance with all safety, chemical handling, and state regulations Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and PPE Assist with training and mentoring entry-level Lawn Care Technicians as needed Requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for a Lawn Care Technician II who takes pride in quality work and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2+ years of professional lawn care, turf, landscaping, or horticulture experience Strong knowledge of lawn care products, application techniques, and turf health Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable working independently and managing a route Clear, professional communication skills with customers and teammates Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
