Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes through hands-on work with lawn care, landscape maintenance and mulching. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that thrive year-round. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscaping and construction, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor environments. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Maintain landscapes by trimming trees and shrubs, pruning, and performing tree care to promote growth and safety. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for landscape installation and maintenance projects. Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to keep properties accessible during winter months. Assist with gardening tasks such as mulching, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Follow safety protocols at all times while working with machinery or in potentially hazardous environments. Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or mulching is required; additional training will be provided for motivated candidates. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery is highly advantageous. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, tree trimming, and landscape installation is required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. Basic understanding of horticulture principles and plant care practices is beneficial. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and construction, valid driver's license preferred; experience in equipment operation or landscaping is a mandatory. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
