As a Lawn Care Technician, here's what you can expect You'll spend your days outdoors instead of behind a desk or inside, working with a team while servicing residential and commercial properties. You'll become the face of Mack's Lawn Solutions, providing professional lawn maintenance and exceptional customer service. When you join our team, you'll receive paid, hands-on training on lawn care techniques, equipment operation, and safe application of fertilizers and weed control products. What Your Days Will Look Like Mow, edge, trim, blow and maintain large commercial lawns. Apply fertilizers, weed control, and other lawn treatment products safely and effectively. Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and spreaders. Build strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for additional lawn care services. Drive a company-provided truck to and from customer locations. Eligible technicians may take their assigned vehicle home. Use company-provided tablets or mobile devices to manage schedules, complete service records, and communicate with customers and the office. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle and equipment. Opportunities for Growth We believe in promoting from within. Qualifications To join Mack's Lawn as a Lawn Care Technician, you'll need: High school diploma or GED preferred. Lawn care or landscaping experience preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math skills for measuring and applying lawn treatment products accurately. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements This position is physically active. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
You'll need to: Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Safely operate lawn care equipment and company vehicles. Work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying lawn treatment products. Work Environment Our technicians work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, and light rain.
You may regularly work around: Lawn care equipment and machinery Company vehicles and trailers Fertilizers, herbicides, and lawn treatment products Dust, pollen, grass clippings, and other outdoor elements Uneven terrain, hills, and landscaped areas We provide the training, equipment, and safety gear you need to perform your job safely and confidently.
