Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Technician/Laborer, where your energy and outdoor skills will help create and maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure outdoor spaces are vibrant, safe, and well-kept. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in all weather conditions while honing your skills in landscape maintenance and equipment operation. Whether you're trimming trees, installing irrigation systems, or caring for plants, your contributions will directly enhance the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor environments. Duties Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to ensure proper horticultural care and pest management. Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to promote efficient watering practices across different landscapes. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote growth safety and aesthetic appeal while following safety protocols Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for efficient operation and troubleshooting. Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and groundskeeping techniques. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic horticulture principles. Knowledge of pesticide management practices for safe application when necessary. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair to support sustainable water use. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Skilled in operating grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.
