As a key contributor, you will be responsible for executing a variety of lawn care and grounds maintenance tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and planting bed upkeep to promote healthy growth and visual appeal. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Conduct groundskeeping activities such as tree trimming, shrub pruning, hardscape cleaning, and snow plowing during seasonal needs. Identify plants accurately to recommend appropriate care or pest management strategies; apply pesticides following safety protocols when necessary. Use hand tools and landscaping equipment safely while adhering to all safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with landscape installation projects involving hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls, ensuring quality craftsmanship. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment including excavators when needed. Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on lawn care, gardening, tree care, and groundskeeping practices. Knowledge of horticulture principles for plant identification, soil health, and sustainable landscape practices. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to optimize water efficiency. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively while maintaining adherence to safety protocols at all times. Excellent attention to detail in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing patterns, pruning shapes, and hardscape cleaning. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with team members and clients alike.
