Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with experience in lawn care and maintenance. This role involves working outdoors to ensure the health and appearance of various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. As a Lawn Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy growth. Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules and functionality. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to enhance the health of trees and shrubs. Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Carry out landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Assist with groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean, safe, and visually appealing. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques. Proficiency in using power tools and landscaping equipment. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to irrigate effectively based on plant needs and environmental conditions. Experience in tree trimming and maintaining various types of vegetation. Capability to build hardscape features with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively within a team environment.
