Independent Contractor (1099) - No Guaranteed Hours Position Summary BST Solutions LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Lawn Maintenance Technician to perform landscaping and lawn care services across multiple job sites in the Port Arthur/Beaumont area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling based on project needs. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial lawn equipment, including zero-turn mowers and weed eaters Perform routine lawn maintenance such as mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites Follow job specifications and safety guidelines Travel independently to assigned job sites

Requirements Experience:

1-3 years of commercial lawn maintenance experience required Proficient in operating: Zero-turn lawn mowers Weed eaters / string trimmers Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.) Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to job sites Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently Ability to perform physically demanding labor (lifting, standing, walking for extended periods) Compensation & Terms 1099 Independent Contractor position (no employee benefits) No guaranteed hours - work assigned based on project needs and workload 2 days of paid training provided prior to independent assignments Additional Information Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and transportation Opportunity for consistent work based on performance and availability

Pay:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
