Job Description

Job Overview Augusta Lawn Care of Flower Mound and Southlake is hiring experienced lawn care technicians to perform mowing and lawn care treatments throughout North Dallas. We are building a growing operation backed by Augusta Lawn Care, a franchise system with over 200 locations worldwide. As we expand throughout North Dallas, strong technicians will have opportunities to earn more, take on greater responsibility, and grow within the organization. Compensation $20 per hour guaranteed base pay for mowing/treatment technicians Experienced technicians typically average $25-$30 per hour once their route is full and efficient Additional earning potential through monthly performance bonuses, upsells, and profit sharing W-2 employee position with guaranteed base income This is a pay-for-performance position designed to reward productive technicians. Once trained, technicians earn 30% of the revenue they produce for the business. You will never earn less than your guaranteed hourly base rate. As your route becomes denser and you become more efficient, your earnings increase. Most experienced technicians reach the $25-$30 per hour range within three to six months. Technicians who meet certain monthly revenue targets may also qualify for an additional 10% profit-sharing. Take-Home Company Van Each technician is assigned a relatively new Ram ProMaster van stocked with the equipment and supplies needed to complete their route. The company van may be driven home and then directly to the first job of the day. This eliminates the need to report to a shop every morning and can save significant commuting time.

Provided at no cost to the employee Stocked with assigned equipment and supplies Available for company use only Monitored through GPS and tracking The more efficiently you complete your route, the greater your earning potential through pay for performance. Schedule and Seasonal Hours Schedules are generally Monday through Friday, with some technicians working a Monday through Thursday schedule. Start times are flexible within normal working hours. Technicians are responsible for completing the route assigned to them and communicating with the general manager throughout the day.

Approximately 20-30 hours per week, depending on weather, customer demand, and licensing Technicians with a Texas pesticide applicator license will generally have more opportunities for winter work. Seasonal technicians are also welcome. Team members who choose to work elsewhere during the winter may return with a guaranteed start date the following spring, provided they remain in good standing. Responsibilities Complete assigned mowing and lawn treatment routes Safely operate commercial lawn care equipment Maintain assigned equipment and company van Review the next day's route through the mobile app Take photos, videos, and job notes through the app Communicate with the general manager and team throughout the day Identify additional services that could benefit existing customers Maintain professional and respectful customer relationships Work safely and productively in Texas heat and changing weather conditions Customer communication skills are helpful, although extensive customer interaction is not required. The mobile application is available in Spanish. An employee who works 2,000 hours during the year earns approximately 80 hours, or two weeks, of paid time off. Who This Position Is For This position is ideal for an experienced lawn care technician who works harder and more efficiently than the average employee and wants compensation that reflects their performance. Our goal is to train technicians, build dense routes, and help them earn above their guaranteed base pay as quickly as possible.
