Job Description
Experienced Lawn Edger - Residential Lawn Care DeLeon Lawn Care & Landscaping is looking for an experienced and dependable Lawn Edging Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is highly skilled at creating clean, sharp edges using a weed eater. Position Overview The primary responsibility of this position is edging residential properties with a weed eater . We service residential customers who expect a high-quality, professional-looking lawn, so attention to detail and consistency are extremely important. This is not an entry-level position. We do not currently have time to train someone on how to edge. You must already have experience and be confident using a weed eater to create clean, professional edges. Responsibilities Use a weed eater to create clean, straight edges along sidewalks, driveways, curbs, flower beds, fences, and other areas. Maintain consistent edging quality from property to property. Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. Follow established company standards for residential lawn care. Keep work areas clean and free of grass clippings and debris. Properly operate and care for lawn care equipment. Work safely and professionally at all times. Communicate with the crew and follow daily job assignments. Work outdoors for extended periods, including during hot Texas weather. Qualifications Previous experience edging lawns with a weed eater is required. Must be highly comfortable and confident using a weed eater for edging. Must be able to produce straight, clean, professional-quality edges . Strong attention to detail. Reliable and dependable. Able to work independently and stay on task. Able to work outdoors in hot temperatures. Must take pride in the quality of your work. Residential lawn care experience is preferred. Schedule Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Location Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Pay $18-$20 per hour, based on skill level and experience. Higher pay within the range is available for someone who demonstrates excellent edging skills and consistently produces high-quality work. Important We are looking for an experienced edger, not someone who needs to be trained.
